Slack Integration

By connecting Slack to your HowNow account, you would be able to -

• Search contents on HowNow from anywhere in Slack.
• Share search results with others on Slack.
• Convert a message on Slack to a HowNow nugget.
• Receive HowNow notifications on Slack.

To connect your HowNow account to Slack -

• Login to your HowNow account. .
• Go to the Integrations section on your Profile page.
• Find integration for Slack and click Connect .

To use the integration:-

1. Search contents on HowNow from anywhere in Slack.

   • Type the following anywhere in Slack

     /hownow [search term] .

     For Example - /hownow marketing course

2. Share search results with others on Slack.

   • Select a conversation from Send to a conversation dropdown, which appears after each search result.

3. Convert a message on Slack to a HowNow nugget.
   • Click on the three dot menu on the slack message.
   • Click on Create Nugget option from the menu
   • A pre-populated Nugget Form will open. Fill the appropriate values and submit.
